Mexico, Four EEOC Field Offices Sign Agreements to Combat Bias in United States

Mexico may or may not pay for the wall that Donald Trump promises if he becomes president, but for now the U.S. and its southern neighbor have pledged cooperation in preventing discrimination against Mexican nationals in this country.

Just in the last week cooperation agreements have been signed between the Mexican Consulate and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission field offices in Richmond, Houston, and Denver. And the  consulate section of the Mexican embassy has entered into a cooperation agreement with the EEOC’s Baltimore field office.

All the agreements pledge ongoing collaboration ongoing to provide Mexican nationals in with information, guidance, and access to resources on the prevention of discrimination in the workplace regardless of immigration status.
